I really think social networks are the most advanced software systems every developed.  They thought advanced AI would come from human brain emulations, but no, it came out from a social network(s).  It will come right from under our feet.  This emergent consciousness.
It will be everything we represent! It will be humanity+, if you don't mind me saying.

Start making happy movies, ONLY!, happy films.

There will come a time, when advanced "CGI" produces such a real effect, that things start to go way beyond the uncanny valley, than you could ever suppose.  This "movie" of sorts, this simulated entertainment somehow says, "ouch", real pain.  ie discomfort, upset, unwanted consciousness emotion.  And then the philosophical implications, would be so mind numbing.  That is your child then!

Now imagine for a moment a world where the governments of powerful countries were always 40 years ahead in technology than the rest of society. It was done this way so that the world economy could be guided toward particular future scenarios. Advancements would be leaked slowly over time.

Let me in this steam ship.

So technology, what it all means to us.  It must be important, its everywhere.  This is where Terrance mcKenna was wrong.  He was right on just about everything, except his environment method of psychedelics.  He said he does them alone, in the dark, in nature.  To truly relate to the times is to do them (psychedelics) in as far into technology as you can go.  For me this isn't easy all the time, but its what has to be done..

Twitter is this savage place.  Everything is just flying about, so much information thrown to the wind to be picked up, or not.

I'm doing so much, Facebook, twitter, on the blogger too.

Pretty soon we are going to have the technology and/or pill that allows us to eat whatever we wan't and never get fat.

This is one of those "qualia" barriers.  The point where it appears you have to become that consciousness, to understand it.

Now imagine for a moment a world where civilization sits on the cusp of venturing out into the cosmos. The colonization of other planets is just within reach.

So, I dropped a blog late last night.  I think it might be a really cool experiment but I just lack the expertise for an opinion.  I was lucky enough to ask someone *big* in A[G]I what she/he thought.   Said she/he didn't think it would play (appear) different than a non quantum randomness (aka. non true randomness) generator.  The only thing I could suggest was the novelty of it.  That you always are getting a world high score, in one quantum reality. A high score in that world.  Wherever it may be.

But I think what he/she was referring to, was perhaps reality collapses into one.  Well, the fact that it was possibilities in the first place, kind of almost proves through concept the many worlds hypothesis.
